Maureen Gallagher lives in Galway. Her first collection of poetry, entitled Calling The Tune, was published by Wordsonthestreet in December 2008.
Maureen's work has appeared in magazines and journals widely and broadcast on RTE. She has won many awards including this year the Goldsmith Poetry Award, the Jonathan Swift Satire Award (second) and the Phizzfest Poetry Award (runner-up).
